The Learning Lab is home to a number of Bristol Aquarium’s babies. Get up close to juvenile seahorses, pipefish, and even baby sharks in our nursery displays.
Make sure you take a good luck at the glass catfish, fascinating creatures that you can see right through. With this display you will also see bamboo fan shrimp, and cherry shrimp all surrounded by our carefully cultivated live plants!
Pop your head up through the middle of our seahorse lighthouse and check out these graceful and magical looking creatures up close. If you listen carefully you can even hear the popping sound they make when they eat – fascinating!
Plus – can you spot all our rockpool inhabitants? Some are very good at hiding while others have perfected the art of camouflage.
