From baby rays and newborn seahorses to eggs-traordinary shark egg-cases and a special live guest appearance from members of the Octonauts crew, there’s a host of amazing attractions on offer throughout the Easter holidays at Bristol Aquarium (Saturday, March 28th – Sunday, April 12th).
The Harbourside attraction is springing into action with a fun-packed programme of daily events and activities including fish-feeding, behind the scenes mini tours and visits to the aquarium nursery to meet their newest arrivals.
There will also be the chance to see if you can match the marine babies to their parents, with some species changing spectacularly as they reach adulthood!
Younger visitors can hunt for eggs in a mini-beach sandpit search and add their own eggy design to a giant Easter-themed collage in the foyer area.
On Wednesday, April 1st the aquarium will be welcoming a very special mystery guest from the forthcoming ‘Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure’ show at Bristol Hippodrome Theatre.
Bristol Aquarium’s Sarah Moore said: “We’ve got an action-packed daily programme of talks, demonstrations and feeding displays taking place daily throughout the holidays.
“Visitors can get involved with a host of activities which starts with helping us feed our fish their breakfast and concludes with a special behind the scenes tour in the afternoon. In total there will be nine different events on every day.
“We’re also extremely lucky to have crew members from the Octonauts live theatre show on-site offering workshops, which are all fully booked already, and we’re expecting they will prove extremely popular with all of our younger visitors.
“There’s even the chance to win some tickets to see the live Octonauts theatre show at the Bristol Hippodrome,” she added.
